Welcome to Girlguiding in Dursley!

Dursley is a town in Gloucestershire, about half way between Bristol and Gloucester. Dursley District covers Dursley and Cam and the surrounding villages including Coaley and Uley.   

 

Dursley is probably most recognisable to the children as being the inspiration to J.K. Rowling for the Dursley family in the Harry Potter books.

Our Latest District Event
On 11th September 2010 around 100 members of Girlguiding Dursley District started walking from various locations in and around Dursley to all meet at the Town Hall. We then walked as one through the town to the recreation ground where we ate our picnics in the sunshine.
